About me
Marissa Benge is a family nurse practitioner whose care centers on empowering patients to take charge of their own health and prevent disease. She takes pleasure in connecting with her patients and working with them on achieving their wellness goals so they can live their best lives.
Benge earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at Louisiana State University, followed by her master's degree in nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Benge's interests include cardiovascular disease, obesity and weight management, primary prevention, and chronic disease management. She also enjoys teaching nursing students.
In her free time, Benge can usually be found outside. She loves hiking, practicing yoga, spending time with her two kids at the beach, and traveling.
