Dr. Monica Tang cares for patients with a wide variety of allergic and immune-related conditions. Her research focuses on how to take better care of patients with asthma.

Tang earned her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Duke University, where she also completed a fellowship in allergy and immunology.

Tang is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; and American Thoracic Society.

In her free time, Tang enjoys reading and hiking.

    Dr. Tang is wonderful. I've been an RN for 45 years, I've never seen anyone better. Her knowledge is current and extensive and she listens and includes me in the decision making process.

    Dr Tang is wonderful. So is the opportunity for telehealth access, especially as I am severely immunocompromised and must minimize risk exposure. Plus I am 1.5 hours away.

    Monica Tang was competent, engaging, and put me at ease. We had a good discussion of the topics that are relevant to my situation with lifelong asthma and risk for anaphylaxis with peanuts. I give her a 10 for her bedside manner and focus on addressing the problems at hand. I do think it would be good to have an in-person appt next time for listening to my lungs and any other "hands-on" examination that is warranted.

    My Dr took time to explain results and discuss a variety of options. The discussion covered my history and was extremely informative. I left with validation of some things and a number of new strategies to manage my allergies. This was a good as I had hoped for when I set up the appointment.

    Dr Tang listens to my symptoms and takes them all in comes up with a plan very quickly and usually works immediately Come from Sonoma County just to see her. She's wonderful. Dr Tang must have spent and hour with me going over my symptoms and coming up with a plan.

    Dr. Tang did not make me feel rushed or unimportant. She listened very carefully and responded clearly to my questions. I felt like she was very competent, that I could really trust her and that she saw me as a person. I love all those things in a physician.
