About me

Dr. Natalie Young is a geriatrician and palliative medicine doctor who cares for adults with cancer or other serious illnesses. She helps patients manage their symptoms and treatment side effects, and discusses advance care planning with them.

Young's research interests include making comprehensive geriatric assessments part of routine cancer care for older adults and improving the care of patients living with dementia.

Young earned her medical degree at UCSF, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. She completed a fellowship in geriatrics and palliative medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Young enjoys spending time with her family, exploring the Bay Area and cooking.
