About me
Dr. Nathan Karp is a rheumatologist who cares for patients with a range of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions. He has special interests in diagnosing and managing types of inflammatory arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and gout), myositis (conditions involving inflamed and weak muscles), vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels) and lupus. He is passionate about clear and open communication with patients and believes that shared decision-making between providers and patients is particularly critical in his field.
