About me
Dr. Nicholas F. Fleming is a specialist in internal medicine who provides primary care.
After earning his undergraduate degree at Duke University, Fleming completed a joint medical degree and master's degree in public policy at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard John F. Kennedy School of Government. He then completed his residency training in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Prior to joining UCSF, Fleming worked for 14 years in a private multispecialty practice started by his father in South Carolina. During that time, Fleming held many hospital leadership positions – from chief of staff to medical director of a skilled nursing facility – and was involved in various community service activities. He was chosen for the inaugural class of the Liberty Fellowship, an Aspen Institute–based leadership development program for young professionals in South Carolina, and is now part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
