About me

Raysean Ford is a social worker who provides individual therapy to patients with mental health challenges, including mild to moderate anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and prolonged or complicated grief. With a strong belief in the power of mental health services, he is committed to not only supporting his patients in reaching their mental health goals but also advocating for their needs and connecting them with resources that promote physical as well as emotional well-being.

Ford earned his master's degree in social work from California State University, East Bay. He has a background in community mental health, child welfare and education. With firsthand experience of how inequality and injustice can affect access to health care, he is passionate about service and advocacy. He enjoys selecting a new community for his volunteer work each year. He values collaboration both at work and in the world beyond as a way to create meaningful change in shared communities.
