About me
Dr. Rose Monahan is an allergist and immunologist who cares for patients with a wide variety of allergic and immune deficiency conditions. She has special interests in medication allergies and medical education.
Monahan's research focuses on how to provide efficient high-quality allergy care to patients with drug allergies. She also devotes much of her time to educating doctors training in UCSF's allergy and immunology fellowship program.
Monahan earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Los Angeles County and the University of Southern California (LAC+USC), followed by a fellowship in allergy and immunology at UCSF.

I woyld give Provider Rose Monahan an EXCELLENT IN ALL CATEGORIES If there was such an option! I really felt "heard" by her and she understood my situation.

Absolutely incredible care team! Dr. Monahan and Jen were fantastic! They made my experience amazing despite the circumstances. Jen was especially wonderful giving me warm blankets and snacks, chatting with me, and keeping me company.

Dr. Monahan genuinely is one of the best medical providers I've ever had. Prior to this appointment, no doctor has ever taken my allergies/swelling seriously. I felt like Dr. Took her time and genuinely wanted to know about my issues. I felt very cared for!!!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Rose (pardon I forgot how to spell her last name) listened and answered questions and walked me through all the things I could do but not all at once as it could be costly but start small with the mattress and pillow covers. It was just nice that I wasn't told to get rid of my cats, phew! Dr. Rose was informative and kind.

The Doctor care and service as well as my concerns were very direct, specific and extremely well addressed. Good to be taken care by a doctor of her caliber, professionalism and training. Makes me feel safe, specially with something so sensitive and life threatening as food allergies

Dr Monohan is a very professional & she listens to my concerns patiently.
