About me
Dr. Sandeep Kishore, who goes by Sunny, is an internal medicine specialist who provides primary care to adults. He has a special interest in cardiometabolic health, such as ways to address high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity. He is careful to look at each patient as a whole person and tailor treatment to their individual circumstances.
Kishore earned his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College, where he also earned a doctorate in microbiology. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale University and a residency in primary care at Harvard Medical School, training at Brigham and Women's Hospital.
In addition to seeing patients, Kishore leads initiatives at UCSF focused on improving digital health care (including by monitoring medical conditions remotely) and chronic disease management for all patient populations.
