About me

Dr. Taras Litvin is an optometrist who practices comprehensive eye care. He has a special interest in caring for patients with glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

Litvin's research focuses on developing and applying novel diagnostic techniques in the management of glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, a condition in which high blood sugar damages blood vessels in the retina.

Litvin earned his doctor of optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley. He then completed a residency in ocular disease at UC Berkeley School of Optometry, where he stayed on as an assistant clinical professor. Embracing an interest in clinical research, he later earned a doctorate in vision science at UC Berkeley.

Litvin is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
