Nurse practitioner

Amy Schwartzburg is a nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). She works with MS patients needing urgent, follow-up and disability care, and conducts neurological exams for patients who are participating in clinical trials. She also performs diagnostic lumbar punctures, tests that help diagnose infections and disorders of the central nervous system.

Schwartzburg earned her bachelor's degree in biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and her master's degree in nursing at the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. She has been working with MS patients since 2004.
