UCSF's Post-Acute Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program supports patients during the critical first six months after a brain injury. By providing specialized care as soon as possible after the brain injury occurs, we help patients work toward the best possible recovery and reduce their risk of long-term complications.
Because TBIs can cause a wide range of symptoms, our team includes specialists from several areas of medicine, such as:

- Rehabilitation therapy
- Sleep psychology
As a patient, you'll have in-depth consultations with the team and receive a comprehensive treatment plan designed to meet your needs.
