Acute Care Clinic at Parnassus
The UCSF Acute Care Clinic at Parnassus provides evaluation and treatment for urgent, non-life-threatening medical problems. Our clinic offers same-day, walk-in appointments for adults 18 and older. We have on-site X-ray, ultrasound, electrocardiogram and blood testing services. Whether you're dealing with a sprained ankle or a sinus infection, our team will help you get the care you need quickly.
If you're a UCSF primary care patient and have visited your primary care provider in the past three years, you may be able to schedule an appointment by phone. We have a limited number of appointments available for phone scheduling. Walk-in patients may choose the next available appointment or schedule one later in the day.
If you think you might be experiencing a life-threatening emergency or are having symptoms such as serious shortness of breath, chest pain or sudden paralysis of the arms or legs, you should immediately call 911 or go directly to the emergency room.
