Dental Implant Center
The UCSF Dental Implant Center specializes in implants as a solution for patients who have permanently lost teeth and who use dentures. Implants, made of materials that are compatible with human bone and tissue, provide artificial teeth that look natural and feel secure. They also can be used to attach full or partial dentures.
The facility offers a range of implant systems and procedures, including hard and soft tissue grafting. Surgeries are performed at the UCSF Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic, which is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. State-of-the-art CT scanning and computer analysis are available to evaluate implant placement.
