Optical Dispensary – Mission Bay Illinois St.

The Optical Dispensary – Mission Bay Illinois St. provides eyeglasses, prescription sunglasses, contact lenses, protective eyewear and related accessories for patients age 8 and up. We carry the latest in high-quality fashion frames and sunglasses, with products from Calvin Klein, Gucci, Maui Jim, Oakley, Saint Laurent, Tom Ford, ProDesign Denmark, Ray-Ban, Morel and other makers. 

We also offer specialized services such as applying Fresnel prisms to lenses or designing lenses for atypical prescriptions. For pediatric eyewear, please contact the Optical Dispensary – Mission Bay Fourth St., also known as the Augie Optical Dispensary. 

Please note that we do NOT offer eye exams. To order eyewear at our optical dispensary, you will need to schedule an appointment and bring a valid prescription. If you've been seen by one of our optometrists before, you can schedule your next routine vision appointment directly through UCSF MyChart.

Parking

Garage parking is available just south of the building, on the corner of Illinois and Mariposa streets. The garage entrance is on Illinois Street.

UCSF also offers valet parking at 490 Illinois Street, Monday through Friday, at the regular parking lot rate. Please enter on Illinois Street to use the valet service.
