Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinic
The UCSF Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinic offers comprehensive evaluations by a team that includes rheumatologists as well as a plastic surgeon who specializes in correcting hand deformities. We also provide long-term monitoring to evaluate our patients' response to new therapies.
Because rheumatoid arthritis often affects many systems of the body, our rheumatologists work closely with specialists in other departments to address all the needs of individual patients. Our patients benefit from the care of orthopedic surgeons who have expertise in hand, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle deformities, as well as joint replacement.
