In special cases, visitors may be allowed to arrive after 8 p.m. After-hours visits must be approved by the nursing unit. Once approved, each visitor will be issued a dated pass that must be worn at all times.
Exposure to common childhood illnesses is risky for some patients, so we do not permit children under age 12 in patient areas without special authorization. Please check before bringing children to a patient care unit. We also ask that friends and family who have coughs or colds delay their visit until they're well.
During flu season, additional restrictions may be put in place to protect patients.
We encourage visitors to take good care of themselves and seek accommodations that allow them to get a good night's sleep. However, patients with private rooms may have one adult family member or friend stay with them past regular visiting hours. Please let us know as soon as possible if you'll be staying overnight. Children may not spend the night.
