Dr. Shatkin Margolis brainstormed with me for the solution to my problem and came up with an excellent one! She put a lot of effort into making sure my problem was solved.

Dr Shatkin-Margolis always listens to me and we, together, decide on the best tx, something I deeply appreciate. She is also always kind, easy to talk to, and a true gift in my life during a hard tine.

Dr. Shatkin-Margolis was absolutely amazing. She engendered trust right from the beginning when she reached out to shake my hand. I was a person and not just another patient coming through. I was a little nervous to discuss post-menopausal symptoms and the need for a pessary but she explained everything. She specifically asked if there was anything I wanted her to know or what my goal of treatment was. I stated that in the long run if possible, I wanted to avoid a hysterectomy. She reassured me that she does not recommend hysterectomy to women unless there is some type of emergency and that if the pessary me works for me I could basically use it forever. It was a vulnerable moment, but I felt very comfortable speaking with her. There was so much kindness and attentiveness with clear explanations. I am in the health care field, and I know how busy doctors can be but she was so relaxed, unrushed, and committed to our time during the appointment that I wished I had sought help much sooner. All of my questions were answered and I had confidence that after I went home I could be successful with the treatment plan she created for me. What a wonderful experience!! All patient appointments should be like this!

If every Dr was like Dr. Shatkin-Margolis healthcare would be a better place. I've referred her to one colleague and also have a selfish fear that I can't tell too many people how great she is so her practice won't get too full. In all seriousness, she is a bright light in what has been a difficult medical journey. She deserves all the praise, awards, acknowledgements possible!

Dr.Abbie is the best doctor I've ever came across. With my concern, I was anxious and felt isolated in my experience. Dr.Abbie reassured me that my experience is normal, that I shouldn't feel different or ashamed for what I am experiencing. Her validation and reassurance were everything anyone would ask for during a time of distress and uncertainty. Her nurturance and care for me during my visit helped alleviate my anxiety. The sigh of relief I felt leaving the room was something I haven't felt since I learned of my condition. I cannot stress how thankful and grateful that Dr.Abbie is practicing and offering the quality care that we all desperately need, especially during times of great stress. Truly grateful to Dr.Shatkin-Margolis.

I have never experienced a provider who communicated so clearly and fully. She spent the time needed to cover all the topics. She should teach most other providers that communication should be an important part of their role.

I'm lucky to have Dr. Abby as a care provider.

Good provider however she was not able to access information that was needed for the visit that I thought would already have been reviewed beforehand. She was not even able to pull up this info during the visit so it was kind of a waste oof a visit. Needs to be better communication and knowledge of where medical records are that have already been saved in the mychart.

She is normally an excellent advisor on my health conditions. This telephone consultation was short and hurried. She misunderstood my report of getting up several times during the night and she prescribed medication for incontinence.
