Amanda Li

Amanda Li is a social worker who cares for patients with cognitive impairment as well as for their caregivers. As part of an interdisciplinary team, she supports her patients through psychoeducation (providing information that helps them understand and cope with their illness), resource coordination and counseling.

Li earned a master's degree in social work from California State University, Long Beach, with a concentration in older adults and families and a specialization in community mental health. She has provided care as a social worker in many settings and clinics, including psychiatry, emergency medicine, intensive care and orthopedics.

Li has a particular interest in addressing barriers to accessing community mental health services for Asian Americans.
