Braeden Ego is a genetic counselor who specializes in prenatal and reproductive genetics. She educates patients about their genetic testing options and supports decision-making that aligns with individual values and needs. She enjoys working with patients from all walks of life and is passionate about making genetic information more comprehensible to diverse patient populations.

Ego earned a bachelor's degree in genetics from the University of California, Berkeley. She earned a master's degree in human genetics and genetic counseling at Stanford University.

Ego mentors both prospective and current genetic counseling students and is active in the Minority Genetic Professionals Network. She advocates to increase exposure to careers in genetic counseling among potential students, especially those whose backgrounds are underrepresented in the field.
