Carolina S. Berg
Vegan who loves sports
Carolina S. Berg is a nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for women undergoing surgical treatment for breast cancer or a BRCA gene mutation, which increases the risk for developing breast and certain other cancers. She also cares for patients undergoing reconstructive surgeries for a variety of conditions. She works as first assistant in the operating room and is devoted to providing outstanding care.
Berg earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Washington. Her nursing career has included caring for patients with urologic cancer. She joined the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2006.
Berg embraces a vegan lifestyle. In her free time, she participates in the many sporting activities the Bay Area has to offer.
