Celia Marquis is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients receiving infusions. Her expertise in intravenous treatments includes chemotherapy and biotherapy (substances that stimulate the recipient's immune system to fight disease), as well as IV antibiotic, antiviral and antifungal medications.
Marquis earned her master's degree in nursing from UCSF. At Holy Names University, she completed a post-master's certificate program to become a family nurse practitioner. Prior to specializing in infusion care, she cared for patients with cancerous solid tumors and chronically ill patients who needed pain management. She joined UCSF in 2008.
In her free time, Marquis enjoys travel, yoga, hiking, cooking and gardening. She loves being with her family, friends and rescue dogs.
