Christian Vivero is an orthopedic physical therapist who cares for patients with musculoskeletal injuries. His patients range from weekend warriors to competitive athletes.

Vivero is an assistant clinical professor of physical therapy in UCSF's joint graduate program in physical therapy with San Francisco State University. In research, Vivero is studying the effectiveness of a peer mentorship program for undergraduate students seeking admission to physical therapy training programs.

Vivero earned his doctor of physical therapy degree through the UCSF and San Francisco State joint program. He completed a residency in orthopedic physical therapy at UCSF and is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist.

Outside of work, Vivero is a judo black belt, Brazilian jujitsu practitioner and backyard barbecuer.
