About me

Dr. Dan Selvig is a gastroenterologist who cares for patients with digestive health issues, providing treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He also performs diagnostic procedures, including upper endoscopy (to view the lining of the upper digestive tract) and colonoscopy (to view inside the colon, the last section of the large intestine). He has a special interest in colon cancer prevention.

Selvig earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed an internal medicine residency and a fellowship in gastroenterology at UCSF.

    Sadly, I was told Dr. Selvig is leaving. He was excellent with his knowledge, his manner and his understanding as well as his ability to listen. I hope the next doctor will be as good.
