Doshie Holston-Rankins is a nurse navigator who cares for patients with stomach and intestinal cancers. She ensures that her patients have timely and smooth access to care, and helps new patients make appointments with the doctors best suited to the particular diagnosis. She enjoys helping patients navigate the complexities of the health care system, so they don't feel overwhelmed.

Holston-Rankins wants to make sure that cancer patients interested in fertility preservation have access to those services. She is working on a project that will offer access to these services to every patient of childbearing age.

Holston-Rankins earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Auburn University at Montgomery. She earned a master's degree in nurse education from Auburn University.
