Stephen Hall

Dr. Stephen Hall is a psychiatrist who provides psychotherapy and medication management, including through collaborative care with other psychotherapists. He specializes in psychopharmacology (medications to treat mental conditions).

Hall's research has investigated risk assessment for suicide and homicide, and strategies for tobacco use cessation.

Hall earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College. He completed a residency in psychiatry at UCSF, followed by a fellowship in biological psychiatry at UCSF and the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System.

Hall is a member of the Northern California Psychiatric Society, American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry and California Psychiatric Association. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
