Dr. Su Aung is an infectious disease specialist whose focus is caring for patients living with HIV.
In research, Aung has studied the efficacy and challenges of treatments for infectious diseases, including HIV and COVID-19.
Aung earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, where she was recognized with a humanitarian award. At the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, she completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics, a fellowship in infectious diseases and received an award for excellence in teaching. She has a master of public health degree from the West Virginia University School of Public Health.
