Dr. Thanh-Giang Vu, who goes by tina, is an anesthesiologist whose focus is critical care medicine. She cares for patients when they are at their most vulnerable, keeping them as safe and comfortable as possible. She loves supporting patients and their families, as well as working with a team of providers from various disciplines to deliver the level of care she would want for herself and her loved ones.

In research, Vu studies health disparities in the intensive care unit and operating room, specifically looking at how English language proficiency may affect the care a patient receives.

Vu earned her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in critical care medicine at UCSF.
