Ernest Bituin is a nurse practitioner who specializes in caring for patients with cirrhosis. He treats those who are admitted to the hospital with liver failure as well as those who are preparing for and recovering from liver transplant surgery.

Bituin earned his master's degree through the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Bituin is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners. An avid traveler who has visited more than 40 countries, he has provided volunteer medical care in Ecuador and Bolivia.
