Hansen Ho is a pharmacist who cares for patients with cancerous solid tumors. His areas of interest include gastrointestinal oncology, immunology, and chemotherapy desensitization (a procedure for patients who have had adverse chemo reactions that allows them to safely receive their treatment).

Ho's research focuses on understanding and optimizing patient care through molecular markers (detectable substances in the body that can indicate disease or treatment response), chemotherapy desensitization and pharmacy automation (using technology to improve pharmacist processes and patient care).

Ho earned his doctor of pharmacy degree from UCSF. He completed a general practice pharmacy residency at the University of Southern California and a pharmacy oncology residency at UCSF. He is certified in oncology pharmacy.
