Jessica Bath is a physical therapist who cares for patients with neurological conditions. She provides research-backed exercise programs based on strength and conditioning principles. She has a special interest in Parkinson's disease and is trained in Parkinson's-specific rehabilitation techniques. Her overarching goals are to enhance her patients' physical function as well as their quality of life.

In research, Bath evaluates treatments to improve walking and balance in people with Parkinson's disease, including through deep brain stimulation (a therapy that works by sending electrical impulses to brain areas involved in movement), rehabilitation (regimens to support the activities of daily living), and other integrated approaches.

Bath earned her doctor of physical therapy degree through UCSF and San Francisco State University's joint program. She completed a doctorate in rehabilitation science, with an emphasis in neuroscience, at UCSF.
