About me
Kathy Bonacini is a physical therapist specializing in geriatric outpatient care. She works with patients who have had total hip or knee joint replacement, and patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including those involving the back, feet, knees, shoulder or elbows. She also cares for patients with neurological impairments, such as may result from strokes.
Bonacini earned her bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas. She later returned to complete her doctorate of physical therapy.
Previous to her current work in the clinics, Bonacini worked with the UCSF Care at Home program for almost a decade, visiting homebound patients in San Francisco. She also has experience with rehabilitation in a hospital setting.
