Kayla Katzman is a physical therapist who cares for patients with musculoskeletal injuries. Her approach incorporates therapeutic exercise, education on specific conditions, and motivational strategies.

In her research, Katzman assesses the effectiveness of a peer mentorship program for undergraduate students seeking admission to physical therapy training programs.

Katzman earned her doctor of physical therapy degree through UCSF's joint program with San Francisco State University. She completed a residency in orthopedic physical therapy at UCSF.

Outside of the clinic, Katzman enjoys reading, running and playing sudoku. She is usually over-caffeinated.
