Dr. Linda Reilly is a vascular surgeon with particular interests in managing infected bypass grafts, endovascular repair of aneurysms (a less invasive approach), complex aortic valve reconstructions and endoluminal treatment of vascular disease (techniques performed within blood vessels).

Reilly earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed a residency in general surgery at Johns Hopkins Medicine, where she was the first woman to complete the training program. She came to UCSF to pursue specialty training in vascular surgery, and subsequently joined the staff as a vascular surgeon and faculty member.

Reilly is the director of UCSF's general surgery training program for residents as well as president of UCSF's medical staff.
