Lynnea Mills, MD

Hospital Medicine

Dr. Lynnea Mills is a hospitalist, an internal medicine specialist whose focus is the care of hospitalized patients. She enjoys learning about patients' experiences with their medical conditions and with receiving care, and she strives to work collaboratively on finding realistic solutions that will improve their health and let them return them to doing the things they love.

Mills earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. At the University of Washington School of Medicine, she completed a residency in internal medicine and served as chief resident.

With the goal of improving the patient experience, Mills has served in a range of roles at UCSF. She coaches faculty members working to improve their communication skills and is particularly passionate about her role in training future physicians.
