Dr Cedars and her care team are amazing

The whole team was mind-blowingly amazing.

Dr. Cedars is truly fantastic! My husband and I are so happy that she is our doctor! We wish we had found her earlier (previously we were at a different fertility clinic for several years.) I would recommend Dr. Cedars to everyone! I'm grateful that she answered all of my questions. She is very knowledgable, calm, and a great communicator. All such important qualities in a doctor. She explains things well. I always feel better after our appointments with her.

Dr. Cedars and her team are the most competent doctors I've seen in my entire life. They were so thoughtful and considerate! Even the smallest details weren't missed, like making sure not to accidentally get the ultrasound gel on my gown since I'd be wearing the gown for another consult after the ultrasound and she didn't want me to be sticky and uncomfortable.

Dr. Cedars was exceptional. She not only has the highest level of skills and expertise, but also an incredible, generous bedside manner. Despite a minor anesthesia hiccup, she provided amazing care and made me feel utmost confidence, safety and security. I feel very grateful for Dr. Cedars.

I am grateful to be a patient of Dr. Cedars. She is the best women's care provider I've ever seen in my life. She provides exceptional care and always takes time to listen to me and address any concerns.

I would like to thank Dr Cedars for all her support and care during my recent procedure at UCSF CRH. As always, she was kind, compassionate and patient. She took the time to explain the procedure to me and answer all my questions. I felt very comfortable while under her care, and know that I am receiving high quality care from her. She is a very experienced and skilled doctor. My whole procedure was very smooth, efficient and successful! I am very lucky to have her to perform my procedure. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to Dr Cedars! I also would like to thank Aurora, she is very kind and patient. She prepared everything for my procedure day. She also put me at ease before the procedure and during the procedure. It was really helpful. She also made sure that I was well rested and in good condition before I was sent home. I would like to thank the great care I received from Aurora! Finally I would like to thank you Jennifer and Briana from the surgery team, they have been very helpful and supportive. Thank you!

Unfortunately, it is difficult for me to extract this specific visit from other interactions with Dr. Cedars. While she check marks all the requirements, her kind demeanor seems somewhat forced and limited (as if she knows it's expected of her but it isn't genuine). I felt she was technically competent / a clinical expert but not necessarily caring or truly warm / empathetic. I am thus not dissatisfied with the medical or clinical aspects of my care but would not recommend her specifically to other patients who are sensitive to their provider's emotional demeanor, who are trans nonbinary or genderqueer, or who experience physical pain with ultrasounds or pelvic exams. I found her to display a lack of true, proactive care around these latter matters.

The fertilization technique was not discussed with me, and resulted in conventional IVF when I assumed ICSI would be performed. Love and trust Dr. Cedars and trust her clinical reasoning, but the lack of discussion about fertilization technique made the decision to do conventional feel like an omission (with significant financial, physical and personal consequences) rather than a deliberate decision. I would have advocated for ICSI had I known given lack of insurance coverage for future cycles and the desire to maximize fertilization rates.

I have so much respect for Dr Cedars, I'm so glad she's my doctor through all of this. My response is only specific to this one appointment. This specific FET left me feeling pretty uneasy. The transfer itself was difficult, which isn't anyone's fault obviously, but Dr Cedars described my cervix as "angry" and my fibroid as vascular without much explanation. I also was the one to remind I have a fibroid, I would have thought that would be evident and relevant In my patient history. In the moment, I didn't feel like I could really ask any questions, I was nervous and I wanted to let Dr Cedars focus. I wish I'd had a chance to chat with her after it was over about why it was so difficult, what happens next - I could tell she had to get to her next appointment, understandable since ours took much longer than anticipated.

I would like to thank Dr Cedars for all her care, patience and kindness during my treatments. Dr Cedars is an excellent doctor with strong responsibility for her patients, she also truly cares and empathizes with her patients.Dr Cedars is an expert and leader in her field. I feel very lucky to have her as my doctor, and receive such a high standard care from Dr Cedars' expertise and experiences. We really appreciate how efficient and skilled she was during my previous and current procedures. She was so compassionate and knowledgeable and gave us hope during our fertility journey. When I asked Dr Cedars any questions regarding my treatment, I always get great responses and feel well informed about my care. She has solved all my reproductive health and feminine health problems. We have already achieved a healthy baby through the treatment plan Dr Cedars made for us. We feel forever grateful to Dr. Cedars. She is truly the best doctor in reproductive health and anyone would be in great hands with her. Now we are going through a new treatment with Dr Cedars for baby No.2! THANK YOU Dr. Cedars!

Dr. Cedars is an excellent doctor, and an expert and leader in reproductive health. I feel very lucky to have her as my doctor. Dr. Cedars is a very caring and thoughtful, who shows genuine interest and care for her patients. She always studies my medical records and past tests in details before our appointments.Dr Cedars is a very skilled and experienced doctor with a strong sense of responsibility towards her patients. She has previously performed a very successful surgery on me. I was in great hands. She also helped me to get pregnant successfully and have a very healthy baby! Efficient but friendly enough. She didn't ask me any questions. I don't think she ever called me by my name but it was fine

I've ready recommended UCSF to two of my female friends. I'm pleased with my experience here

I think more follow up could have been provided. This is my second experience with egg retrieval so I was more well informed. But I think the portal messages for trigger information could be better presented in a document form. The RN can also follow up after priming started to kind of check in on the patient so provide more thorough care.

Dr. Cedars is a godsend. She provides superior care. Her entire team are wonderful, communicative and supportive.

I have had confusing and mixed results with some unanswered questions and difficulty reaching answers but overall I was happy with the care
