Mary Wong

Nurse practitioner

Mary J. Wong is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with various heart conditions, including those with chest pain or coronary artery disease, palpitations, heart failure or valvular disease. She has worked in cardiology for more than 30 years.

After earning her bachelor's degree in nursing at Wayne State University, Wong earned her master's degree in nursing, with a concentration in critical care, at the University of Pennsylvania. She completed UCSF's post-master's certificate program to become an adult nurse practitioner.

In 2019, Wong earned the UCSF Health Great Experience Award for providing exceptionally compassionate, thoughtful care to patients. She serves as a clinical preceptor for the UCSF School of Nursing.

In her free time, Wong loves being with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
