Matthew White is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with cancer. One of his goals in his work at the Cancer Acute Care Clinic is to help patients avoid the need for visits to the emergency department and hospitalizations.

White earned his bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his master's degree in nursing from UCSF. He transitioned to working in oncology in 2023 after 17 years in adult critical care.
