About me
Natalie Olsen is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients during radiation treatment.
Olsen earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from St. Mary's College and her master's degree in nursing from UCSF, where she specialized in oncology and geriatrics.
Olsen is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society. After starting her career at St. Francis Memorial Hospital as a nurse in the cancer unit, she moved to UCSF and cared for patients with lung cancer and sarcomas. She then worked in the pharmaceutical industry, educating employees and health care providers about lung cancer and its treatments. She is thrilled to return to UCSF.
Olsen has been a San Francisco resident for more than 20 years. She lives with her husband – who works at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center – and daughter, an avid soccer player.
