Patty Yan is a nurse practitioner who provides both primary and urgent care, including seeing patients who require same-day attention. She particularly enjoys working with patients who speak English as a second language, seeking to ensure that they receive health information they understand and can use and that they feel understood by their health care providers.
Yan earned her master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She has participated in medical missions to Central America and India.
