Shelley Gierat

Shelley Gierat is a nurse anesthetist who provides care before, during and after surgical, therapeutic, diagnostic and obstetric procedures, administering medications and monitoring patients to ensure safety and comfort. She has special interests in organ procurement for transplantation and in managing nausea and vomiting after surgery.

Gierat earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at San Diego State University and her master's degree in nursing at the University of Southern California. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
