About me

Stephany Rodriguez is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients as they undergo chemotherapy or recover from a stem cell transplant.

Rodriguez has more than 15 years of experience as an oncology nurse. She has spoken at national conferences on a variety of topics, including acute leukemia – a rapidly progressing blood cancer – and graft-versus-host disease, which occurs when transplanted bone or stem cells attack the recipient.

Rodriguez earned her master's degree from UCSF with a dual emphasis, becoming an adult nurse practitioner and a clinical nurse specialist in oncology.

Rodriguez lives in San Francisco with her husband and three children.
