Nurse practitioner

Steven Lee-Ramos is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients with cancers of the digestive system. His role includes clearing patients for chemotherapy, managing complex symptoms and medication needs, and monitoring patients as they go through treatment. He is dedicated to supporting families throughout their cancer journeys and helping patients understand how they can improve their overall health, enhance their quality of life and reduce their risk of recurrence. His previous work experience was in palliative and hospice care.

Lee-Ramos earned his master's degree in nursing at UCSF.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Lee-Ramos worked on cancer drug development in the biotech industry for 15 years, which cultivated his passion for cancer care centered on individual needs and preferences.
