About me

Tien Nguyen is a physician assistant who cares for patients with urological conditions. She has special interests in female pelvic medicine (treating conditions of the urinary tract and the supportive muscles called the pelvic floor) and gender-affirming care. She evaluates and treats patients who prefer nonsurgical options for pelvic organ prolapse (when organs, such as the bladder or uterus, drop below their normal position) and for urinary incontinence, including by fitting them with a pessary (a vaginal device that provides structural support). She also assesses patients experiencing pelvic pain, discomfort during intercourse, recurrent urinary tract infections, hematuria (blood in the urine), overactive bladder and interstitial cystitis (chronic bladder pain). Seeking to bring patients the best possible experience, she collaborates with doctors throughout each patient's journey toward wellness.

Nguyen earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Since then, her years of providing urogynecological care have given her a passion for educating patients about the female pelvic floor.
