Sandeep Kunwar, MD

Neurosurgeon

Dr. Sandeep Kunwar is a neurosurgeon with a special interest in the treatment of pituitary tumors and craniopharyngioma. He uses minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat patients with these disorders. Pediatric patients are treated in collaboration with the pediatric neurosurgery team.

Kunwar earned a medical degree at UCSF, where he completed an internship and residency. As a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research scholar, he worked in the laboratory of molecular biology in the National Cancer Institute.
