Stop Smoking Classes

The Fontana Tobacco Treatment Center at UCSF Medical Center offers classes and individual consultations with doctors and nurses trained in treating tobacco dependence.

Stop Smoking classes are taught by registered nurses and former smokers — Suzanne Harris, a certified tobacco treatment specialist; Joan Schoonover, a tobacco treatment specialist; and Sue Trupin.

Classes involve four weekly two-hour sessions and cover smoking and health, addiction and strategies for quitting. The sessions are held in conference rooms at our Mount Zion campus. The registration fee is $55. Enroll online.
