Terrelea Wong, MD

Internist

Dr. Terrelea Wong is an internist who provides primary care in the Executive Health Practice at UCSF Medical Center. She is passionate about preventive care and the role of nutrition in preventing and managing chronic diseases.

Wong is a clinical adviser to the UCSF Quantitative Biosciences Institute, a collaboration among bioscience researchers who use computational tools to better understand the chemistry and genetics of disease states, with the goal of developing new treatments.

After undergraduate studies at Brown University, Wong earned her medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine. While completing a residency in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center, she spent several months training at UCSF.

Before joining UCSF, she practiced internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco for 15 years, managing a team of 10 doctors and running the center's adult asthma clinic. She is an associate clinical professor at UCSF.
