Advanced heart valve care
We carefully monitor you to manage your symptoms and prevent progression in every stage of heart valve disease. We're here with the treatments and support you need.
Advanced minimally invasive heart valve procedures we perform include:
-
Catheter procedures. As an alternative to open surgery, we offer procedures such as mitral transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) via catheter (thin, flexible tube). We perform these procedures in a catheterization lab instead of an operating room.
-
Ross procedure. During a Ross procedure, we use your own healthy pulmonary valve to replace a damaged aortic valve. The valve lasts longer, has a lower risk of complications and eliminates the need for lifelong blood thinners.
-
Valve replacement. We offer less invasive options for heart valve replacement, such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
-
Valvuloplasty. We're experienced in this minimally invasive technique to repair narrowed heart valves.
