Christina Pedley, LCGC

Genetic counselor

Christina Pedley is a genetic counselor with the UCSF Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program at Mission Bay, where she works with families who have or might be at risk for hereditary cancer. She specializes in identifying families at increased risk for cancer so that screening procedures can be performed earlier and more often, in an attempt to prevent cancer or catch it at an early stage.

Pedley received her B.S. in science from UCLA, and completed her master's degree in genetic counseling at California State University, Stanislaus. In her free time, she enjoys swimming.
