Our rheumatology specialties
Throughout the region, people with challenging autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, including those with undiagnosed and unexplained symptoms, turn to our rheumatologists to get an expert evaluation and advanced treatment. Our team also cares for people with rheumatic diseases complicated by other health conditions such as cancer or heart disease.
We leverage the latest techniques to monitor rheumatic conditions and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. Musculoskeletal radiologists use advanced imaging to examine joint and soft tissue inflammation. Interventional radiologists perform minimally invasive procedures to detect lung problems, gastrointestinal bleeding or other issues that could be related to rheumatic diseases.
Our areas of expertise include:
-
Ankylosing spondylitis. We draw on many treatments to address this spinal inflammatory disease, including medication, physical therapy and surgery.
-
Interstitial lung disease (ILD). A skilled team provides comprehensive care for all types of ILD. We help patients manage symptoms, prevent permanent lung damage and live a better quality of life.
