I came for second opinion and I have a complicated case of fibroids. As the provider saw that I had already gone to Stanford Fibroid center, I felt she was not too interested in going through what UCSF can assist with. My care and major surgeries were at UCI and moving here I decided to try UCSF as I was impressed with the care there. I did not get the same experience with UCSF or the provider. She didn't open my MRI or any reports to discuss in details. Did not show any interest of me following up with my options next year. Totally disengaged and again I think because I was coming for a second opinion might have made my visit not worth it. I feel my time, and my health concerns were not valued

I will 100% recommend Dr. Jacoby and her office to anyone needing fibroid care. I consulted with two other surgeons prior to talking to her and the experience was like night and day in terms of her knowledge, empathy, comprehensiveness in explaining the procedure, risks, and post-care. I wish I could have her as my regular gyno!

Appointment was scheduled four months out so the problem I was experiencing was not present at the moment of appointment.

Dr did not remove fibroid in question, did not address this after the surgery, or discuss a plan to remove the fibroid going forward.

Dr. Jacoby thus far seems very good. Good bedside manner, confident and competent. And her exam was gentle. She wasn't rough at all. I think she's a good doctor.

Dr. Jacoby is amazing. She is kind, caring, and down to earth. She makes you feel like you're the only patient she is seeing that day. She never speaks at you but with you and always checks for understanding. She should teach a master class in bed side manners!!
